Our Math Curriculum
At the elementary level, we focus on
• Counting techniques whether by 1, 2, 5 etc...
• Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers
• The order of operations with small numbers, two-digit numbers, etc.
• Telling time and counting money using U.S. currency
• Solving word problems using the four operations.
• Making sense of numbers by working with rules.
• Comparing numbers
• Working with fractions
• Working with geometric shapes
At the intermediate level, we focus on
• Fractions
• Percentages (n%)
• Ratios and proportions
• Working with data and some descriptive statistics
• Basic algebra skills
At the high school level, we deliver a complete curriculum covering Algebra I and II and any algebra or geometry courses beyond algebra.
